KERA and The Dallas Morning News are joining forces on Wednesday at 7pm to host a community conversation on the importance of local independent bookstores as third places–community spaces where residents can read books, explore ideas and meet people in a warm and welcoming setting.

Just a few days ahead of the acclaimed Hay Festival Forum in Bishop Arts, Javier García del Moral from Wild Detectives and The News will be joined by Riley Rennhack from Deep Vellum, Lori Feathers from Interabang Books, and Claudia Vega from Whose Books for an engaging conversation. Come with your creative ideas on what the bookstores and newsroom can do to build greater trust across our community.
