Lorraine Hansberry was a Leftist, an organizer, a playwright, and a radical Queer Black woman who fought for justice, democracy, and equality with her writings and her political work. While many people know Lorraine's play "A Raisin in the Sun" many are much less familiar with her life fighting for those on the margins of society.
