Pandora’s Box is kicking off POETRY 2018 with poets, poets, poets, for you !! Make your New Year’s Resolution to live a life of poetry in motion with amazing local artists (bios coming) and the heavy-duty King of New York, George Wallace !!!

George Wallace is writer in residence at the Walt Whitman Birthplace, author of 31 chapbooks of poetry, and writing professor at Pace University in Manhattan. In 2017 he was named laureate of the International Ditet e Naimit festival in Tetova, Macedonia. Co-founder of the Woody Guthrie Poets in Okemah OK, George travels internationally, from his base of operations in NYC, to offer workshops, lectures and readings.

Flyy High, the creative and lover of the arts. Born to Jamaican parents, the poet, teacher, writer is known to demonstrate her craft eloquently to her audience. Flyy High started her interest in writing in preschool and has continued writing. At her alma mater, Prairie View A&M University, she became the Editor and Chief of the newspaper. Now as a full time English teacher, she continues to share her passion of writing and literature with the youth. Through her artistic vision, she hopes to inspire others to become their best selves.
