It's Bernstein's 100th birthday and we want to celebrate it by showing you the human behind the musical genius. We're pairing Bernstein's letters and correspondences with friends to show you how his life experiences informed his musical choices. Featuring Bernstein's Chichester Psalms as well as music from musicals such as West Side Story and On The Town.

ABOUT VERDIGRIS ENSEMBLE
Praised for being "one of the most innovative chamber choirs" by TheaterJones, and one that performs with "impressive assurance" by Dallas Morning News, the Verdigris Ensemble has quickly established firm roots in DFW. In just one year, Verdigris Ensemble performed 9 concerts, workshopped 6 specific outreach initiatives, performed 3 world premieres, and received 14 media features from KERA, Dallas Morning News, TheaterJones, 101.1 WRR, and more. Future 2018-19 Season collaborations include the Dallas Symphony's SOLUNA Festival, Irving Chorale, Temple Emanu-El Choir, Avant Chamber Ballet, composers, Nicholas Reeves and David Ross Lawn, and visual artist, Stephen Zhang.
